I have been looking after family and friends pets and animals for over 23 years from the age of 7 I have had dogs and ponies and have grown up in a farming back ground. I have had dogs and ponies through my life, currently my family have 2 ponies and 1 horse and five dogs, I also have two disabled dogs sadly they have passed away this year

I don't have a cat but plenty of dog cat sitting experience with live in people’s homes I do like to spoil and talk to cats and good with nervous and anxious fur babies also fine with cats coming on to bed in middle of night also or slowly getting to know me also will feed only meat treats like chicken ham if allowed love cats can walk Cats on harness or go out side of home if required as long as cat is fine being carried well handled and is fine being in a cat back pack and also if we are going on cat must have harness for the car I don’t do cages for safety reasons cat must have harness will be clipped onto seat belt fully insured to take pets out and have taken dogs out loads in my car

I have a part time Teaching assisting job, that is flexible around pet sitting and I also do some PA work housekeeping and cleaning, I also look after elderly relatives and help out my parents farm

On the farm we have a lot of fencing dog creates and also stables, there is plenty of room for our dogs to run around explore and play on the farm in a secure and safe environment.

I don't smoke and I don't drink lots of alcohol during the week either I try to lead a healthy lifestyle and respect clients homes. I can drive and have my own car full DBS checks that can be sent both advanced and basic and can do online interviews. Home sitting stays mostly for over night and for weekly holidays if you need someone to look after your house hold. I include walking and pet sitting. I have experience with looking after pets in peoples homes as well as personal experience looking after house holds farm animals. services include walking running with pets 24 hour updates face timing with your pet and keeping owners in the loop of how happy or unhappy a pet is if they have eaten or drank that day unless I am giving owner space to relax but I do try to text each day to update owner but you don't have to respond, I can do video calls if you are also on holiday regardless of time zones. I also don't mind having pets sleep on the bed with me or have them in my private room if they don't sleep alone. personally I don't like cages unless absolutely needed if I am out food shopping or out of the house but I don't usually leave clients homes if I do its only for short periods of time. I absolutely do prefer pets to free roam in areas allowed to be petted and fussed talked to they make the perfect alarm system if anyone is about and its nice to include them in daily activities like cooking and treasure hunts, play time as well as tv movie time and cuddles or tidying up cleaning. I do like to keep an eye on them like you would a child but but give them space. Treats and toys are given more often to calm anxiety this can include healthy snacks to help stop weight gaining. I follow the rules of the house hold always what an owner says I will respect. please ensure rooms that are private are locked or closed properly, you will always be updated if a pet sneaks into a private room I am not allowed in this has only happened once so owner was fully aware of exactly where I was entering room I can and will send proof if needed in this experience I had to feed lots of treats to get there pet out off the bed pillow if anything like this happens owners are always informed I do try to make sure all private room doors are properly shut before owners leave.
