Feline Friend in the City Centre

Hi there!

My name is Immy and I live here in the city centre with my partner and senior rescue, Tigger.

I have been a cat owner and lover for most of my life and have an extensive knowledge on cat care, cat behaviour and temperament, as well as being able to understand the important role they play in our lives as personal therapists, moral supporters and best friends..!

I founded the Cats of Canterbury group (Facebook) for local cat news, lost and found posts, advice and recommendations, and run this with the help of my additional admins and moderators for our 550+ members in the City.

I am a well-being and pastoral professional in my career training, and will always take the utmost care in what I do; to understand and listen to your needs for your feline family members, and how I provide professional and attentive care for them.

As part of my services, I will be able to attend your home, adhere to your cats specific care plan, and spend as much time with them as needed. I can do home visits up to twice a day.

I will be able to clear, wash and refill food and water bowls, clean the litter area, replace boxes and litter on each visit, and spend quality time with your cat, even if they aren't sure on cuddles, I will sit nearby and let them know I am there if they wish to slowly investigate.

I am very happy to groom and/or attempt grooming. I can supply my own brushes or use your cats usual ones. From years and years of owning a 'love biter', my hands are used to a few bites and scratches if I'm told to back off!

I will always bring additional treats and toys with me, if your cat is seeming unsure and/or unstimulated!

I haven't listed that I am able to administer medications and injections. Although this is something I have done with my own cats- doing this the first time I meet a cat could be traumatic for the cat and not a great way to introduce myself to them! (And I feel I will leave this out of my services for the time being)

I am always happy to water houseplants too.
