Nobody puts baby in the kennel… or cattery 🤭

I am an animal person, I often prefer the company of animals to humans.

I was born here in the UK, specifically Manchester. I moved to London in 2006, and then in 2019 I moved to Spain to be closer to my in-laws.

I live in Spain for around half of the year. When we moved, we took our three dogs with us: Chai, Latté, and Lopez - Lopez has actually returned to Spain, we rescued him from Murcia, Spain in 2017.

Sadly, Chai is no longer with us, he passed away in January this year. He was ten and a half years old. Latté is 9, Lopez is approximately 8.

As of September ‘22 we have a new addition, Canelo, he appeared in my doorway one rainy day covered in scabs and fleas - he’s now the happiest little dog - it’s fantastic to have a puppy again, I forgot how joyful they are!

So I have a fair amount of experience under my, and with three boys all living in one house!

I am very comfortable with cats too, and have had cats since childhood - I have managed to integrate three cats that I have taken in off the streets since being in Spain, with only a few skirmishes over food bowls but otherwise plain sailing - their names are Lucifer (big white one), Jezebel (all grey one), and Lupé (she’s very shy, but is tabby).

In addition I have a cat in London that lives with me and my best friend, her name is Lychee - she’s the one in the photo in which i’m wearing a green tee!

My husband looks after the animals in Spain when I’m working in the UK. I work in HR and am in a hybrid role so my availability is variable.

I am always available to help in the evenings or weekends, sometimes I can do lunchtimes but it’s always irregular because I have to respond to what is needed of me at work.

I’m happy to do vacation stayovers and have a criminal record check for your peace of mind.
