About Me

Peckham/Nunhead cat friend

I’m Katie, I‘m a graphic designer for a London-based charity and I work mostly from home in SE15 where I live with my partner and my best catfriend Poppins.

I’ve had a cat in London for ten years (one other rescue before Poppins) and had a cat as a child. I love cats!

I’m happy to pop in to visit local cats who’ve aren’t able to travel with their people. Unfortunately I cannot do overnight stays.

I’m very respectful of a cat’s personal space and if they want to ignore me, that’s fine! I’m also happy to play, groom and make friends if it suits them. I’ll take good care of your cat(s) and can also water your plants while you’re away. I’ll send lots of pics and updates as I know how much we all miss our catfriends when we go away.

When it comes to medication, I’ve had a bit of experience with putting medication in a cat’s food but nothing more than that.

I've only catsat for a few people over Christmas 2022, but check my reviews and you'll see I'm a good cat friend :)

    Katie was brilliant with our Tunnocks aka Tunny. We were sure he wouldn’t show himself as he’s a scaredy cat and it takes him ages to warm to people, but Katie was very patient with him. She sent us lovely photos and was very understanding of Tunny’s needs and quirks (or maybe ours). It felt very reassuring to have her look after our little man.

    We would highly recommend Katie! She was able to look after our cat Pumpkin at relatively short notice over Christmas. She sent lots of updates and photos which was really reassuring, as Pumpkin is quite anxious when we’re away so it was great to see her looking relaxed. Katie managed Pumpkin’s meds and we came home to a happy cat :)

    Katie was just amazing - she saved my Christmas. I really can’t recommend her highly enoug. I had to rush one of my two cats to the vet in early hours of Christmas Eve and was very worried about leaving him but Katie was unfazed. She managed his medication with no problem and sent lots of picture and updates so I knew Mungo was in safe hands.
