Hi, I am Michael, and I live in Sprowston with my husband, our two cats and three dogs. I have been registered with a CatInAFlat for several years operating in Watton, but have recently moved to Sprowston.

I have had cats my whole life, and these have always been rescues. My two cats we rescued as kittens, and my dogs are all rescues from Romania.

I previously worked for a number of years as a learning disability support worker, so am used to providing care; animals are my passion and I love to spend time with them and giving them the love and affection they deserve.

My cats have had a wide range of personalities, so I am used to most types of cat behaviour, from former feral cats, those who are very anxious, through to very confident (one of my current cats thinks he's a dog!).

I can administer medication, as one of my cats, Fred, was on heart medication for a number of years. He is a three legged cat following an accident where he became very unwell, so I have experience dealing with cats with additional needs.

I work full time but work flexible hours primarily from home so can offer availability in the morning, around midday, and evening, as well as overnight.

I will follow your instructions in regards to how you want me to look after your pets, and respect and follow any house rules.

I will feed your cats wet food as per your instructions, put down dry food, change water, and importantly spend time with your pets and make sure to play with them and give them fuss.

I can also provide your cats with treats, based on a level you feel appropriate.

I am happy to clean up any litter trays as needed.

I am happy to do small tasks to make sure your house looks lived in such as leaving lights/radio on, shutting curtains, and can also water plants.

Whenever I have used sitters I have always appreciated when they sent photos/updates, and am happy to do this for you as well if you so wish.

If you have more than one type of pet, I can also look after fish, rabbits and rodents.
