Ailurophile - Cat Fancier Calling!

Hey! I'm Pamela, an animal lover from Craiglockhart.

I've grown up around animals and can’t imagine life without them. My whole family’s the same—we all adore our furry friends! I’ve been looking after cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I have two gorgeous 12-year-old Ragdoll X cats and a bouncy 4-year-old Lab who keep things lively at home.

I’ve been part of CIAF for over two years now and absolutely love spending time with all the wonderful pets I get to meet.

I work full-time and have been with the NHS for 24 years. Since I’m back in the office more these days, I’m only able to do one visit a day at the moment.

Happy to offer any services required which go hand in hand with owning a pet. Emptying/cleaning the litter box, feeding, supplying fresh water, giving medication, grooming and cutting nails. Happy to defluff your sofa and beds, run the hoover around, water plants, and put out your bins. Lots of cuddles and playtime, if your moggy is comfortable with that!

    Pamela was absolutely brilliant, couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter 😊. We just moved into our new place and I was worried about how Luke was going to manage this but Pamela did everything to reassure me, took very good care of Luke and didn't mind the many messages I sent her😅 Thanks Pamela and will definitely love to have you again

    Going away is hard these days as my girl is now a super seniorand has a few foibles. Pamela has been fantastic- so gentle when first meeting Mocha and very caring. Her updates were great and she was happy to ask me a question if Mocha wasn’t quite as expected one day which was reassuring. Great sitter- highly recommend 😊

    We always come home to a happy and relaxed cat when Pamela has been looking after him! She makes sure he has lots of cuddles and plays while we are away.

    Pamela is an excellent cat sitter. This was the first time she'd looked after Libby and she won her over when she collected the keys. I got daily updates and videos. I will definitely be booking Pamela again.

    Pamela was fantastic. She followed Tazs’ routine and spend time with playing with him. She also sent daily updates with videos which is a nice touch I would certainly recommend Pamela to my friends and have no hesitation in using her services again. One very happy cat and cat owner

    Pamela was great. She sent daily videos of the cat, and communicated well. My cat is often nervous with new people, but was sitting on Pamela's knee within a couple of days!

    Pamela looked after our cats while we went on holiday for 7 nights. She went above and beyond doing a fantastic job. She played lots with the cats and kept them well looked after. Also, 10/10 for communication. We came back home to two very happy boys! Would thoroughly recommend Pamela and we would certainly have her back again.
