I'm a huge devoted animal lover and have always had pets of my own. I actually love animals more than humans, although I am very fond of my two human children, Joshua 23yrs and Elisha 16yrs 😆

My precious dog Cookie, passed away 5 years ago, who continues to leave a gaping whole in my heart, but I still have 7 of my own special rescue cats, who are my world 😸 and a beautiful tortoise 🐢.

Many friends ask me to care for their cats/animals when away or out for the day, which I love doing. I regularly care for an elderly disabled dog as well, who can't use his back legs and needs medication and his bladder emptying a few times a day. I home cook his food, sleep with him in my arms and make sure the care I give him, is as seamless and the same, as when his mum is there. It is such an honour and privilege to me, to care for these special lives when their own guardians can't.

I worked in an animal sanctuary for 3 years when I was a teenager, as well as having done years of cat rescue work in Cyprus (hence so many of my own 🙈). Additionally when over there, I would look after my friend's cat rescue sanctuary holding around 100 cats, when they were away. I have also helped with a local cat charity, fostering, socialising and doing vet runs etc 🐾💗

When caring for cats, I strive to provide the same love and care, as their parents give them. I ensure to follow the same routines and procedures, so that everything feels as 'normal' to them, as possible. I'm reliable and consistent and I follow all safety measures in place and requested e.g. closing doors and diets/medications. I love cuddling them, giving treats (if allowed) and playing, which are all important aspects of care as well 🐾💗
