Didsbury, Heaton Mersey and surrounding area cat sitter

Hi, my name is Abi :) I am 30 years old and I'm originally from Wales but I moved to Didsbury around 5 years ago. I am currently working as an A-Level teacher, teaching mainly psychology. My schedule as a teacher allows me plenty of time to be available to look after your furry family members.

I have always had a dream of wanting to own my own cat sanctuary but until then I share my home with my beautiful 7 year old cat, Bubs. We adopted Bubs a year after moving to Didsbury, and we chose her specifically because she was very aloof and didn't want much to do with humans due to a lack of trust and a nasty upbringing. Bubs was a challenge to begin with but the best challenge I've ever had - she's become the most perfect, purring lap cat. Bubs isn't a fan of other cats so I'm always trying to find more reasons to be around as many cats as possible - I spend time helping out our neighbour who has 10+ cats and often needs support with feeding them.

I know how important it is for you to be able to trust anyone who is looking after your cat/s so I'm more than happy to meet you before your time away so you can decide if you're happy for me to look after your fluffy family member/s.

I myself always worry about leaving my cat Bubs and always hope that a cat sitter will spend some time with her in my absence. Im happy to stay with your cat/s for some time and give them lots of love, play time and/or lots of brushes. I will always update you with photos/videos of how they are getting on to help with your peace of mind 🥰

In terms of other jobs, I'm more than happy to clean the litter, provide medication should your cat need it and clean food/water bowls etc. I'm also happy to help you out with any small house tasks - watering plants, collecting post etc

I have experience in providing medication after growing up with a cat who had severe asthma and now my parents cat who sadly suffers from an underactive thyroid.
