Experienced, clean and reliable cat-sitter in Ruislip

Hello! My name is Emily and I'm a musician living in London. I work day-to-day as a teaching assistant but often of an evening I can be found in an orchestral pit for a musical.

I used to work abroad in the Cayman Islands and spent a lot of my spare time volunteering for the Humane Society there, in particular in the cat room making sure all the cats and kittens got plenty of attention and daily cuddles!

I love all animals, especially cats. My own cat sadly passed away, so I leap at the chance to help look after other people's cat whilst they are away or at work. Whilst living in the Cayman Islands, I was lucky enough to be able to house sit for 2 families whilst they were off-island travelling, looking after their beautiful cats. This is where I caught the cat-sitting bug, and since moving back to the UK I've also been a member of the Trusted Housesitter community for a year which has given me lots of experience looking after both cats and dogs (as well as other small pets!) throughout the UK.

I've been lucky enough to look after a multitude of cats previously and understand that they all have their own quirks. I like to have a chat with yourself as the owner (usually over video chat or phone call) before meeting your cat(s) as this gives us a chance to discuss their habits, any particular likes or dislikes, what treats they love or where they like/don't like to be stroked etc.

Also if there are any medical issues to be aware of, any medications required or anything to look out for. I am quite happy administering medication where required and have experience giving cats medicine via both pills and syringe.

Please let me know your cat's routine and I will match it, making sure they are fed exactly on time - I know how demanding they can be if a meal is late!

I love to play with the cats I look after and will make sure your furbaby gets plenty of attention, playtime with toys and (if well-received) cuddles and strokes. I also understand the importance of cleanliness so will always make sure litter trays are scooped regularly and that any excess hair/mess is cleaned up.
