Over 10 years of experience looking after cats

I have always grown up with cats but it was rescuing two cats, Poppy and Pudding when I was a teenager that really sparked my passion for them. It's thanks to Pudding that I have learnt how to administer medication to cats as well as learning that not all cats like to be touched in certain areas (like her paws!). It's thanks to Poppy that I learnt that some cats require more patience and more time to learn to trust a human. When we first brought her home I stayed in the room with her but didn't stroke her without her permission - it took a week for her to see I was trustworthy and from then on she followed me around like a lamb.

At the beginning of 2020 I moved in with my partner who had his own big grumpy tom cat called Link. He's a grumpy boy with a sensitive heart. Around June we then rescued a further three kittens (we went for one and ended up with the whole litter) and to say it's been a rollercoaster would be an understatement. The smallest, Eris, was very sick when we took her in. I was back and forth to the vets with her a lot in those early days but she's now healthy and the sweetest little bean. Kylo and Luna are boistrous and have these three have made me realise just how different cats personalities can be.

I have worked from home since the beginning of 2020 and I have recently moved into a fully remote role which has given me the ability to offer my services to others that may need me. I am a Project Manager and I also do dog walking in my spare time. I have also have taken in two hamster rescues over the past year as well.

I have a lot of love for animals which is why I would love to help you wherever I can.
