I would love to hang out with your cat

Hi, I'm Laurel.

I love hanging out with cats and really want my own, however, due to a long-distance relationship I'm not always around, so it just doesn't make sense for me to get one myself. I thought cat-sitting would be the perfect way to be around them but without the long-term commitment.

My mum has one called Ginger (who had a tomboy sister called Fred) and when she's away I go over to feed her, keep her company and tidy up after her.... and by that, I mean clear up the toys she likes to scatter all over the house!

We used to have another 2 cats growing up (Mork and Mindy... we love a showbiz duo) so I've always been around them.

I work from home so I can be flexible on visiting to suit their routines, and will obviously give your cat fresh food, water, and a clean litter tray.

I always feel cats must be a little bit lonely when their owners are away so, if they're feeling particularly sociable when I visit, I make sure I give them enough attention and get them burning off some energy. That said, if your cat is pretty chill I'm happy just to sit with them for the company.

I also know that some cats can be a bit shy or nervous with new people, so I like to meet them beforehand to make sure that they (and you!) are comfortable with me.

Whilst you're away I'm also happy to water your plants, collect the post, and open/close curtains whilst you're away.

I'm based in Addlestone and happy to travel to nearby areas - Chertsey, Weybridge, Byfleet, New Haw, Walton etc.
