The most awesome cat sitter and all round animal lover!

Hi, I’m Doris, I'm 52 years young with a background in catering. These days I can mostly be found cuddling cats and pounding the streets of Leeds and Wakefield as I am a runner and I've just run my first marathon. I would love to take care of your cats, chickens, or small furry pets whilst you are away! I love animals and from a very young age have had cats, dogs, hamsters, chickens, peacocks etc. as part of the family. My mum was a well respected and renowned cat breeder for over 30years until she retired 2 years ago. So because of this I have so much experience with felines from over seeing kittens being born to caring for elderly cats!

I have three gorgeous cats: Bertie (12) who is a super chatty, affectionate, black fluffball, who often needs/demands cuddles at 3am whilst we are sleeping! Faith (12) a British blue shorthair, who was so nervous when she first lived with us, but is now much more confident and loving. Then there is Anna- A.K.A the Duchess! She is 17 years old and still ruling the household including us! Having always had pets I am confident with all aspects of pet care, but due to the age of my cats I have become an expert at administering oral drugs (either liquid or tablets) to our furry friends. So if your cat/s need extra care then I am here to help, and reassure you, by giving excellent care to you pet/s while you are away.

I am extremely flexible days and evenings, My cat services include but are not limited to: • Administering any medications your cat/s require • Putting down fresh food • Changing water bowls • Cleaning food bowls • Giving treats (if they’re allowed) • Clearing litter trays and changing litter when required • Cat cuddles and tickles • Brushing of fur if they are happy with me doing it • Playtime for the playful cats • I will send you daily photographs of your pets to help you from missing them so much and i’ll give you a daily update of what your pets ate, and what food i topped up, as well as detailing their toileting if required.

I like to arrange a visit with you before you book me. This allows me to meet you and your cat/s and give you the opportunity to ensure I’m the right person to look after your cat/s. It also gives me the opportunity to take notes on their daily routine and requirements. Each visit will be approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Also I would love to add a photo of your kitty to my profile page and I hope you love seeing their faces there too. If you would prefer not to have their photo on my profile please inform me at the time of booking. Alternatively I can remove photos if you let me know.
