About Me
Loving cat mom who wants to take care of more kitties <3
My family have always had cats and I love them all so much, so you can believe me when I say that I understand how important your furry family members are. This also means that I have a lot of experience with cat care and will always make every effort to ensure your kitties feel safe and cared for while you're away. I started cat sitting in August 2022 because unfortunately, I can't have any more cats where I live at the moment, but being able to visit other kitties and look after them for a little while is the perfect way to spend my spare time. Growing up with cats I always helped to take care of them (feeding, cleaning, medications etc) and loved being around them all the time. I now have 2 adopted cats of my own that were born on the street and are still very shy so I am also used to dealing with nervous kitties. My cats are indoor cats and I take every precaution to ensure their safety. They have their own room with everything they need but have access to areas of the house that are cat safe. We feed them 3 times a day and clean out their trays and they always have fresh water. I'm happy to spend as much time with them as they want but I also understand if they want to be left alone too.
I offer a flexible service based on your cats’ individual needs and personality. All visits include feeding, fresh water, litter tray maintenance (if required), as well as any other odd jobs that would be helpful whilst you’re away (collecting post, watering plants etc.). I will send updates after every visit, usually with photos, to let you know how they're doing and hopefully help you miss them a little bit less.
I offer two different visit options: Shorter “scaredy-cat” visits (30 mins) – for more timid kitties not too keen on strangers. Longer “furry friends” visits (60 mins) – for cats that would prefer a bit more company, this includes playtime and cuddles!
I can do 1 or 2 visits each day, where I work to requested times as much as possible to continue their usual routine but typically work within 3 time slots: Morning (9am-12pm) Afternoon (12pm-3pm) Evening (5pm-8pm) This is to make sure that I can return home between scheduled visits to look after my own cats, give them lots of attention and feed them at their usual mealtimes (otherwise I get very angry glares!)
