About Me

Hi! My names Lauryn, I'm 28 years old and live in Watford.

I currently work at a veterinary practice in Uxbridge as a student nurse studying at the city and Islington college.

I have 2 Labradors Winter and Tucker; and my cats Ralph and Wisp. I've always loved all animals especially cats and got my first cat Huxley (RIP) in 2020 and Ralph closely followed as a foster fail!

I live in the Watford area but drive also happy to travel to St Albans, Rickmansworth, South Oxhey, Croxley Green and other surrounding areas.

As a cat owner I'm happy to do the usual duties like cleaning out the trays after they've been, feeding, playing with them, grooming.

Because I work at a vets if your cat is on medication I am skilled in administering this, be it pills, creams or injectables. Please just make sure you give me the exact instructions and how your cat is with having medicine i.e. must be held or won't take it, needs to be done in a certain room.

I'm a very patient person so I'm good with lots of types of cats, if your cat is more nervous then I can work around that to make sure they're comfortable.

I can be available for overnight or stay in sitting however, dropping in is a bit more suitable for me due to my shift patterns.

If you need anything done while I'm sitting as well I'm happy to do this, if you need extra cat food picking up, parcels taking in, post being picked up etc.

I'll always send you updates on how your kitty is doing and if there are any concerns at all.

All I ask is that when enquiring to give me as much detail as possible so that everything can go smoothly both ways.

If you also have dogs I’m happy to look after them too for an extra fee, I’ve had dogs for over 20 years plus working experience with them.

Happy to do meet and greets also before settling a booking!

    Lauryn did such an amazing job looking after our three girls while we went away for the first time in a long time! She made us feel relaxed and reassured that our kitties were being well looked after - especially with Cleo, our diabetic princess, who needs to be given insulin injections.     Lauryn did a wonderful job looking after our 3 fur babies 🫶🏽 they were nice and settled when we returned home and she made sure to update us with photos along the way. It is clear she has a genuine love for caring for animals and we felt very reassured whilst we were away. Would definitely recommend!

    This is the second time Lauryn has stayed over with my boys, and, as last time, she did a great job. She is easy to talk to and get hold of, is diligent and sends me regular texts and photos of my cats. They are always relaxed around her and I would highly recommend.

    I chose Lauryn to stay with my boys for 9 days because she is a veterinary nurse with lots of experience with cats. Both my cats bonded almost immediately with her. She sent me daily messages and photos, and was amiable, accessible and very caring towards them. She left my home in great condition and I highly recommend her services.

    I am so happy I found Lauryn, from the moment I met Lauryn I felt relaxed leaving my cats with her, I had a previous bad experience with a cat sitter so I was very nervous, but Lauyrn is a true cat lover, and very sweetly sent me photo updates while I was away. My cats were so relaxed and happy when I returned I knew they had been cared for.

    We have an elderly diabetic cat who is also fairly anxious and Lauryn was really amazing at taking great care of her and updating us with how she was getting on. She also has excellent cat photography skills. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again.
