About Me

Friendly Vet Student Cat Sitter in Edinburgh!

I am a vet student at the University of Edinburgh working towards becoming a feline only vet. I’m crazy about cats! When I am not working I am researching cats, reading papers about their quirks, behaviour, anatomy, and treatments.

I have been Catsitting for a year in Edinburgh and have built up a network of happy clients. Before cat sitting, I worked for a year and a half in a cattery ensuring that I am familiar with caring for a full variety of breeds and temperaments. I have three beautiful cats of my own, and I have taken care of cats since I was tiny.

My course is very full on and I cannot get enough of the companionship of a cat. I will fully dedicate myself to making sure that your cat is cared for and comfortable and will make sure that they are very well loved in your absence.

I am willing to travel anywhere in Edinburgh reasonably well connected by bus to look after your beloved pet.

    This is the 3rd time using Amy and she is the best. I have a very elderly cat who requires a lot of medication. Amy was able to administer this no problem. She ensured all Rosie’s needs were met, so much so I’m not sure Rosie was that bothered I was away.

    5 star cat sitter. Amy is fantastic. Very caring and catered to all Rosie’s likes and dislikes! Overcame issues such as Rosie refusing her meds. Lovely updates everyday. I came home to a very happy cat!

    Amy was great with my cat Bella. She was totally reliable and came twice a day, sent me updates and photos or videos every evening. Bella obviously enjoyed her playtime with Amy and I will definitely look to see if she is available next time I go on holiday.

    Amy was great, my cat obviously enjoyed her visits twice a day, she even sat on Amy’s lap, a rare honour. I got a text every evening with photos or videos, so had complete peace of mind. I’m going away again soon and will definitely book Amy again.

    Amy stayed with our elderly cat for 2 weeks and took excellent care of her and our home. She provided regular and detailed updates and we came home to a relaxed and healthy cat. Would definitely recommend.
