Cat Sitting by Olivia

Hello everyone!

My love for cats began in 2017 when a colleague needed a place for her cat Kora to stay – my colleague’s new accommodations did not allow pets, and mine did. I happily took Kora in (despite never having had a cat during childhood), and immediately fell in love with this sweet and vocal kitty while learning the ropes of caring for a cat.

In the years since 2017, many other cats have entered my life (a roommate’s cat, and friends’ and family members’ cats), and each has charmed me with their adorable personality and quirks. To make a long story short, I now live with my husband and our huge, gentle cat Anya (pictured). She is the queen of the household!

In order to give Anya the best life possible, I try to learn more about cats by reading articles and watching documentaries. For example, did you know that some cats prefer horizontal scratch surfaces rather than vertical?

I bring my knowledge, love of cats, and attention to detail to give each cat the care they need to stay safe, healthy, and happy. In addition to caring for your cat(s), keeping them company, and sending you daily updates and pictures, I’m happy to care for your plants and do other “house-sitting” tasks at your request.
