I am an Architect living in Dunfermline who has a huge love for animals.

We have used cat in a flat for about 7+ years and we love the peace of mind of knowing our precious pets are safe, well fed, happy, and have lovely interactions with like-minded pet owners. This is why I want to join cat in a flat to provide reassurance to other cat mums and dads that their pets are in good hands.

I have had cats, rabbits, hamsters, chickens, and fish whilst growing up in Scotland, Indonesia, and Norway. My childhood cat, Libby, was a little princess who we rescued from an abusive owner when I was 8 and she lived to the ripe old age of 20. In her later years, she was treated with the royalty she deserved and only ate freshly cooked chicken breasts as she had decided that whiskas was beneath her.

During uni my fiancee, Franki, and I adopted Archie as a kitten and he has been our big fur baby full of love and affection. He is a chatty man and a big old strong lump. He loves to travel due to being moved to aunty or uncle so and so during flat inspections at Uni. He thoroughly loved his adventures and being spoilt for a few hours. We moved to Dunfermline during the pandemic to a lovely house with a big garden and fields for Archie to enjoy. Although I will mention we built a ramp across to our garden in our flat in Edinburgh to allow him outside whenever he pleased. This did however mean that we had the window effectively open all year, but it was worth it.

We then adopted his sister Athena who is a typical little sister to him, winding him up and constantly wanting to play with the old man. They have a great bond and could be more different. She is so independant but will follow us round like a shadow that is constantly purring. She is half the size of Archie but that wont stop her putting up a good fight. She loves to play fetch with hair bobbles and will bring them to us to throw.They both have their own bedrooms because we think why not?? They are here for such a short period, they should be spoiled!

Happy to travel around Fife by car and can even pop into Edinburgh as I work a few days in the office. I work 9 to 5.30pm and can visit before or after work. I can also pop over during lunch if that is a better time for them to have visitors. I will play or not play with the cats as much as they like. Each cat is so unique and I have a very good sense of reading body language and behavioural cues.

I will give any medications that are needed and feed any fish. If like us you have vegetables and plants you care about, I will make sure they are well watered.
