I am a compassionate, trustworthy and punctual individual who loves to spend time with cats. I have cat sitted regularly for over a year and have completed work experience at a Veterinary Practice which means that I have developed my skills as an understanding and patient caregiver for your beloved cat. Growing up, our house was, and continues to be, a safe haven for rescue cats, each with their own story. I grew up with Thumper and Felix who lived to 21 and 22 years of age, so I am aware of the patience that must be had when looking after older cats. Currently, I own an adorable tortoiseshell called Brownie who truly rules the house and is very loved. I adore meeting new cats and learning about their personalities and quirks. Each one has their own special traits and habits which make them unique, and understanding these helps to form a bond built on love and trust.

Moreover, I recently became a volunteer for Cats Protection. I help to clean the cats pens, socialise kittens and make sure all cats are happy whilst they wait to be rehomed!

As a cat sitter I am comfortable in prescribing medication, tailoring my services to your pets needs and going above and beyond to make sure your pet is happy whilst you are away. I will keep you regularly updated with photos of your cat and a summary after each visit/intervals throughout the day, updating you on the feeding/playing/cleaning tasks/behaviour of your cat. I understand that every cat is different, so whilst some may be happiest left to their own devices, I also understand that some love lots of fuss! A meet and greet can be arranged free of charge beforehand. This allows your cat to become familiar with me whilst enabling me to get to know their setup too. This ensures a seamless caregiving experience, aiming to minimise stress levels for your cat. Whilst you are away I am more than happy to help with household chores like bringing parcels in, putting the recycling out etc. I am also happy to travel to your cat if they fall outside the catchment area, a small fuel cost will be applied but I will always try to be as flexible as possible to make sure all cats are cared for :)
