Hi! I’m Laura. I'm 35years old and I am a cat obsessed Accountant based in rural Preston village on the outskirts of Canterbury. I have grown up surrounded by animals. I currently own 24 furbabies from Domestic Short Hair, Turkish Angora to Maine Coon. My obsession for cats comes after my Trixie, we call her Queen T, she is the most spoilt pampered diva ever, and then I rescued a mum and her litter and my obsession grew with rescuing Cats and kittens. I grew very fond of them and wanted to give them a home of love, attention and care as they are one of nature’s greatest gifts. My perception is that cat sanctuaries as brilliant as they are, generally older cats are left there for a very long time until someone picks them, I didn't want this for these furbabies and decided to keep each and every single one who thrive in a luxurious countryside with fields upon fields.

I have a range of experience in looking after cats, some with complex medical needs as I have a asthmatic cat that requires medication daily. I’m able to assess the mood of various cats and treat them accordingly, ensuring that their boundaries are respected and allowing them to both feel loved and continue their daily routine in their own home whilst you are away.

My aim is to provide a comprehensive cat & house-sitting service, ensuring that your feline friend is treated like the King/Queen they truly deserve. Early mornings are no problem here, so no cat will be wondering where their breakfast is! Minimising stress and ensuring that their social and physical needs are well catered for, their Lord/Ladyship may even have a better time than you!

I know how much our fur-babies are missed when we have to leave them. I ensure that daily photos and videos are sent, so you can keep up with their adventures while you are away. I’m also happy to create a group chat with you and anyone else that you’d like to be updated on explorations in your absence.

I am experienced with managing a wide variety of both tablet and liquid medication as well as dietary needs. Should you have an inside cat that loves to relax in the garden on a lead, I’m confident in handling this too. All food and water bowls are cleaned on each visit, alongside maintaining a tip top clean litterbox and good water levels throughout the property. All rooms will be checked for unwanted surprises (unless asked otherwise) and, of course, everything will be tidied up before you return home. I can also water inside and outside plants, bring packages inside and open/close the curtains accordingly to make your property seem lived in and cared for. I have a full, clean driving licence and am available for Canterbury and surrounding areas towards Herne Bay.
