About Me
Cat sitter in Birmingham
Hi, I’m Jessica! A qualified primary teacher who currently teaches in a special educational needs school. I live with my partner and two chunky cats; Benedict a ginger American Shorthair and Hugo a British Shorthair, who both get a lot of our attention.
I was born and raised in Cyprus. Legend has it, the Empress St. Helen of the Roman Empire brought over hundreds of cats from Egypt in the Byzantine era to help control venomous snakes that had infested the land. Since then, it truly has become the island of cats, populated with thousands of them! Growing up surrounded by them, I developed a love for cats and all kinds of animals. I was the kid who rescued and brought home any stray or injured creature, fluffy, furry or scaled. I’ve even had a rescue pet bat! I also have the experience of volunteering at rescue shelters and charities.
If you are going to be away, just send a message and I will try my best to help out! I promise to give your fur babies lots of attention and contact you with regular updates 🐾
Happy to feed, freshen water, tend to litter trays, water plants, bring in mail, do general light cleaning and tidying up. I can stay a little while if needed for some cuddles and play time! Enhanced DBS checked as I am a SEN teacher, I do drive and am fairly flexible on weekends. Also happy to discuss looking after other pets 😊
