Trustworthy, friendly and experienced cat sitter

Having struggled over the years to find trustworthy, calm and kind cat sitters to look after my cats, I thought I'd offer my help to other pet owners in need. I've had a couple of bad experiences myself and don't want anyone else to go through that when they're away and should be enjoying themselves!

I grew up with cats and have always had them in my life. I love their individual characters, their sass and I enjoy getting to know them!

After caring for my own elderly cats with their various ailments and supporting them through their end of life, I'm taking a break from owning my own cats, but am happy to cat sit for you!

Having cared for my cats and their health problems, I understand the anxiety many pet owners have about leaving their pets when they go away. I'm happy giving medicine if needed and am responsible and can judge if/when a cat needs to go to the vets. I'm very understanding of anxious and sensitive pets so will try to read what your cat needs and how best to help.

I run a Mental Health Clinic in South-West London (Vitus Wellbeing), so I have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of mental health (both yours and your pets!). If I can ease your worries while you're away, that's time very well spent!

I mostly work from my clinic, with some working from home when I can. I'm therefore mostly available for visits before/after work, and on weekends.

I'm also pretty house-proud, so am happy to water plants/collect post etc and will always leave your home as lovely as you left it.

If there's anything specific you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm happy to follow your lead - if your cat likes attention or to play, I'll be sure to spend time getting to know them and making sure they're happy and entertained! If they'd rather be left alone - that's completely fine too. I'll check they're safe, fed, watered, litter cleaned etc and give them the space they need.

I understand cats are all different and some need time to adjust to a new person - their home is their territory and I'll respect that.
