About Me

Kind and Gentle Cat-lover in Highgate and Barnet

Hi! I’m Helen and I’d love to look after your cat. I have owned cats since I was 4 years old (!) and regularly cat-sit for friends and family, as well as on this app. As I currently don’t have a cat after my own sadly passed away, I have a LOT of time and love to give your cats while you’re away and will treat them like my own. I’ve worked in hospitality for 7 years and currently work in publishing. I am based in both High Barnet and Highgate and I work from home 3 days a week, so please ask me about my availability!

I’ve been catsitting for a while now using this app and have really enjoyed getting to know some local cats and owners! Happy to negotiate on pricing too.

I’m experienced at reading cats’ body language and will take my time building trust with them. I’m naturally very gentle with cats and want them to feel safe and not nervous! I’m experienced in delivering medication to cats and caring for elderly cats, administering special dietary requirements etc. I’ll send photos and videos of your cat while you’re away too, as I understand how much this means for your peace of mind.

I have a car so happy to travel around the North London/ Herts area.

    I highly recommend Helen, she spends time playing with and cuddling my cats and sends me lovely photos and updates. She even disposed of a mouse with no fuss (thank you Helen!). We have come back to happy and relaxed cats and Helen will be back in a few weeks to look after them again.

    Fantastic as usual. Helen has looked after our cats a few times now and they are always left full and happy. She even did an extra visit when one of our cats wanted to stay outside and she worried he would be cold so went back to let him in a few hours later. Will definitely be using her again in the future.

    This is the second time Helen has looked after our three cats. It’s so lovely not having to worry about them when we are away. I would recommend her to anyone. My cats were very happy, well fed and relaxed when we got home. Excellent.

    Helen was fantastic. We met her a week before our holiday and straight away we knew we could trust her with our cats. It wasn’t the most normal cat feeding jobs as two of our three cats are outdoor cats but Helen just went with it and made sure they ate every day. Regular updates and photos. We will definitely use Helen again in the future.
