About Me

Cat first aid certificate and police check. Short notice ok!

Hi! I'm Victoria and I love cats! I have a cat first aid certificate and a DBS police check. I carry a cat first aid kit to all appointments.

My family always had kitties growing up so I've many years of experience looking after cats of all needs. Some were rescues and the rest were strays. Old cats, young cats, scared cats, sick cats... I've seen it all! My family also had hamsters growing up and I’ve previously sat for a pair of rabbits and a pair of guinea pigs so I am happy to look after these as well.

Right now I am cat mother to Rupo, a senior rescue tuxedo cat. When I adopted him, he had already lost part of his tail but his heart was full of love.

As for me, I'm Scottish and in my early 30s. I work remotely in information security. I'm here because I love meeting new cats! I have a DBS police check.

Each visit lasts a minimum of 30 minutes with plenty of time for cuddling and playing with your cat. I'm free to visit any day or time (excluding staying overnight), even on short notice.

As well as feeding, playing, emptying litter boxes, and possibly administering medications (pills/liquid/cream/feeding tube), I can also water plants, open/shut curtains, collect letters, and any other small tasks needing done at no extra cost. I'll send you a selection of photos and updates during each visit. Anything else, just ask and I'm sure it will be possible.

Please note for welfare reasons I require a minimum of one visit per day. These do not all need to be done by me.

    Caused distress and gave me a panic attack by contacting rspca - she was 'worried' about my cat, implying she's not well taken care of and could be re-homed. Didn't have any justified proof. She didnt want to pick up phone or meet me to answer my questions or give explanation when I came home and made me spend more money on extra visits. - CAT SITTER'S REPLY: Alla, you didn’t have a return date and didn’t care about my welfare concerns. The SSPCA told you to book extra visits to meet the legal minimum. You could have booked anyone. I wasn’t sure if I’d be paid or insured, but I still went because Mila was my priority. I preferred texting as I wasn’t given the chance to speak at our first meeting. You never asked to meet again. I hope Mila has seen a vet and is no longer being neglected.

    Absolutely fantastic! It’s always a concerns to leave our kitties behind… Particularly with one of them being a scaredy kitty. Victory did an amazing job playing with them while keeping us updated and sending us loads of pictures. Kitties are really happy and so are we. I would absolutely recommend her and will hire her service again!

    We’ve used Victoria a couple of times now and she’s always very good and communicative. The most recent stay was at short notice too, which really helped us out.

    We receive lots of pictures of the cat and he always seems very happy with Victoria. We’d have no hesitation in using her again.

    Victoria was an extremely reliable and diligent cat sitter. She was flexible and able to give our cat medicine even though that was a last minute instruction. She sent lots of pictures of our kitty which was also appreciated. Would not hesitate to book her again, my cat seemed very content and looked after.
