I'm the cat's meow!

Hi! I'm Amanda and I am a cat obsessive! I have had cats since I was 11 years old, not including the countless strays I've looked after. I'm the person you see petting and chatting to random cats in the street.

I am the proud owner (or perhaps they own me) of a beautiful ginger cat and 2 stunning black cats. Pooky is a ginger female, and so affectionate. She's a little princess and so expects to be treated as such! She's also a wanderer, always out on adventures and hunting mice. Luna girl, our black cat, is a stunning creature and very vocal. She loves to be petted and loves her treats. She's a sturdy, strong cat, very independent but loves to be petted. She doesn't like to be picked up, and is partial to a quick nibble of someone's fingers!

We adopted Luna Girl's kitten, Nova, who has completed our cat family. She is an adorable ball of fur, full of energy and cuddles, and always up for a carry on.

In summer 2023 we lost our oldest ginger tom, Weeman, who was 16 years old and a grumpy, aloof ball of fur. He was receiving palliative care due to having being diagnosed with a tumour in his jaw. The poor thing also had kidney and thyroid issues so I gave him oral medication daily. He was my little best friend, always wanting to be near me and have his ears scratched. I miss him terribly.

I am utterly obsessed with cats - they are the best animals, and so it would be a privilege to take care of your pet.

Having experience with so many different cat personalities, I am confident in looking after your cat with the utmost respect, patience and love. I am happy to pet, cuddle, play and scratch ears as much as your cat likes, or just sit and be present for the cats that are timid, grumpy or just don't feel affectionate. Medication, diet and grooming are all areas I am experienced in.
