Ex Cats Protection Fosterer, forever cat lover.

Hi! I am currently working as a civil servant within the criminal justice system and looking to brighten my week by having lots of cuddles and playtime with local felines.

I was a registered cat fosterer between 2019-2023 for Cats Protection, which I absolutely loved! I have fostered over 60 Cats and kittens in that time, where I had the opportunity to socialise and use bonding techniques with feral cats, administer medication to sick kittens and provide plenty of cuddles and enrichment to stray cats in preparation to be adopted to their forever homes.

Ending this volunteer position was not taken lightly but due to family life and employment commitments, I could no longer give 100% to these beautiful kitties and I could hardly give up my job or my child. Haha.

Prior to this, I have owned cats all my life and appreciate all their little quirks, personalities and attitudes.

I live in Pontardawe and work in Swansea centre, so I would happily work in these surrounding areas before and after work hours.

I'd say my ear scratching skills are as good as they get, and I'm also pretty handy with a feather or some string.

My 4 years of volunteering with Cats Protection has improved my confidence in working with all types of cats, even the extra spicy ones. Obviously, you know your own cats personality, so I will take your lead on what you'd need from me.

I also have lots of experience in administering medication and eye drops, as well as knowing the importance of food prep hygiene for cats.

I have no issues with litter box cleaning.
