The best cat-sitting in Reading!

I’m Naomi, a cat lover for as long as I can remember!

I’ve lived in Reading for a few years now and I’ve been petsitting for most of this time, looking after a range of pups & kitties and gaining the trust of a large number of pet owners. I absolutely love animals but I’ve always had a huge soft spot for cats, probably since I grew up with my own. One lived to the grand age of 22 and the other until 20, so I like to think of them as well looked after!

I love all of their different personalities, and it’s particularly rewarding when I’ve managed to get a very nervous or grumpy cat to warm up to me! I recently managed this with a catsitting where it went from hissing at me any time I entered the room to purring and wanting cuddles constantly, so I’m definitely very patient with a gentle approach.

I currently own a little tortoiseshell called Mia, she’s a little princess and a huge part of my life. She’s such a cuddly little companion and I absolutely love getting to share my time with her. I adopted her a few years ago and she went from being an anxious & suspicious kitty to the most loving & affectionate cat I’ve had!

I adore looking after other people’s cats and have years of experience; everywhere I have moved to I have always been lucky enough to be a catsitter. I understand it can be a worry to leave your precious pet looked after by somebody else, but I assure you that with my experience of feeding, cleaning litter trays, playing, giving pets & cuddles and administering drops and medication, your kitty will be in safe & attentive hands 😄

I’m happy to cater to whatever your cat needs, whether that’s staying with them at your home or simply doing a drop in if they’re a little more independent. I’ve worked with a huge range of cat personalities, so whatever yours is like I’m sure I will be able to accommodate to it! If your cat needs plenty of attention I’m more than happy to give it lots of pets, cuddles, playtime and treats, and of course make sure your cat is fed and watered. I’m also fine with housesitting for you as well if this is what you would prefer, and can look after any other companions you have such as rabbits or fish (or plants!). I can cover most of Reading and can travel to locations just outside Reading also.
