Cat sitter in Ely

Hi there!

I'm a dedicated cat-cuddler with a lifetime's experience in the field (well, 32 years). I'm lucky enough to share my home with two moggy housemates – Mr Gaius and Esmé. Growing up, there were at least four cats in the house at any one time; since the age of 13, I've helped with four kitty deliveries and administered countless worming tablets and antibiotics (I have the scars to prove this). More recently, I've helped look after a diabetic cat belonging to two friends I made through Cat in a Flat, which involves giving her an insulin injection twice a day.

To me, cats are basically the greatest beings on the planet, but I know how awkward they can make your life when you have to pop out of the city on a trip or holiday. So I want to help out – and get help myself, naturally!

In terms of hobbies, mine are reading, writing, drawing, photography and films. So, basically anything that I can do without much physical exertion, and preferably within arm's reach of a cup of tea and a cat.
