About Me

🐈 Cat lover living in Glasgow centre 🐈‍⬛

I have over 15 years experience looking after my own cats (4 in total) and have frequently cared for family, friends and neighbours cats (kittens, elderly cats, groups of cats) when they are out of town.

I'm 29 and work as a Senior Marketing Officer on a hybrid basis, meaning I'm at home most of the week. When I was a student I volunteered at Cat's Protection for a number of years and loved getting to spend time with the cats from feeding, playing, cleaning their living space and giving them lots of love. Would love to volunteer there again but the hours they required didn't suit at the moment.

I'm originally from Stirling and have an 18 year old cat named Daisy that I've looked after since she was a kitten. I moved to Glasgow recently last and couldn't bring her with me so she's with my parents. Since I don't have a cat in my flat, I was thinking about a way to get my kitty cuddling needs met and this sounded perfect!

I would love to be able to care and spend time with cats in my area, keeping you updated and reassured while you're away that they are in capable hands.

I'm happy with most levels of care but wouldn't be comfortable with giving injections or inhalers as I've not done that before. Above all I want to make sure your cat is as comfortable, happy, relaxed and well looked after as possible in my care. I know what it's like leaving your beloved cat while you go on holiday and the worry that goes along with it, wondering if they are okay. My aim is to keep them relaxed and happy by giving your cat time to acclimate to me and a routine. I'd of course be keeping you up to date with daily check-ins and pictures to reassure you that your fluff ball is being well cared for.

    Zara is amazing as always 💕 She always sends lots of updates which helps us feel so at ease that Burrito is in very good hands. Burrito loves Zara and is so chill and happy with her, she is so attentive with him and can really be seen she loves what she does! Can not recommend Zara enough and will definitely book with her again 😻

    Amazing from start to finish. One of our kitty is very shy, but Zara managed to build a rapport with her on the first day. She sent loads of pictures and videos, and spent plenty of time interacting & playing with both. We came back to very happy Kitties who behaved like we didn’t even leave. We can’t recommend her enough, she’s an absolute star!

    Zara was fantastic and Burrito absolutely loved her 💕 She made sure to send me regular updates, videos & pictures and he always looked so happy and comfortable with her.     We really value an trust Zara with our cats. She's thoughtful, careful and detail-oriented, which means she asks the questions that help her give our boys the best care possible. She always sends thoughtful messages updating us when we're away and shares videos of the cats playing, which helps to reassure us and enjoy our time away.

    We were delighted with Zara’s service. We were away for 4 nights and she visited our cats twice each day and took care of everything. We loved receiving the photos and videos that Zara sent of them eating, playing and how clean the litter was. Zara was trustworthy and had an excellent level of detail and awareness of things that were important.
