A second best friend to your best friend

I’ve worked professionally with cats for 4 years in a veterinary setting, alongside this I own 2 cats who are called Bug and Bean. I had a West Highland White Terrier growing up who was a beautiful little boy but sadly passed away at the start of COVID-19. Alongside an animal management course I completed, I also worked in a rescue centre, looking after various breeds of cats. Feeding, grooming and playing with the animals, to give them enrichment throughout their stay in the kennels/cattery.

My hours of work vary each week, this allows me to have time to complete other activities. I’d like to fill this extra time by helping out wherever I can to pet sit others pets, helping out other pet lovers so they have peace of mind that their pets are being looked after when they are not able to throughout the day.

Keeping pets safe inside and outside the clients property is vital, to ensure that the pet is out of harms way and able to get the most enjoyment possible of the visit. It is important to discuss boundaries with the client between pet and human to make sure everyone is happy at all times.

I am available for dropping ins and house sitting in the day or overnight.
