Caring & reliable cat sitting in Brighton & Hove

Hello!

I'm Laura (32yo). I recently retrained in psychology and after graduating from my Master's I am now working from home full time as a Research Assistant. As a remote worker for the first time, this felt like the perfect opportunity to spend more time with my favourite species in my local community, particularly as I am currently unable to rescue due to tenancy restrictions. I miss the familiar comfort of those little paws padding around the house and would be delighted to meet your feline companion and give them the care and attention they deserve, while they wait for their favourite person to come home.

A cat lover through and through, I have grown up with cats including rescues all my life and feel more comfortable in their company than anywhere else. I am particularly attuned and sensitive to nervous cats, and understand how to build trusting and comfortable relationships with them in a short space of time while respecting their boundaries. I love the individual personalities each cat brings and getting to know their unique quirks, and look forward to understanding what makes your furry pal so special.

I'd be delighted to cat sit in the areas of Brighton & Hove. I am located in central Hove and can easily access all areas of Hove including Aldrington up to Portslade. I have a car and am also happy to travel further into Portslade or Brighton.

I am signed up to the DBS volunteer update service and have an Enhanced DBS certificate.

I am happy to take care of whatever needs your cat may have while you are away, from feeding, looking after the litter tray to administering medication or grooming - just let me know how you'd like it done and I'll make sure to follow your instructions to a T. And of course - I'm here to give your feline bud all the attention they may crave, including lots of cuddles and play time (or none at all, if they prefer the aloof and mysterious approach). I'll make sure to send you a picture & written update each time I visit, so your mind is at rest and you can make the most of your time away.

If you are gone for a little while, I'm more than happy to give your plants a water and ensure any post / parcels are safely stored inside for you.

In all cases, as your cat sitter I will:

• Arrange a free Meet & Greet to get to know you and your cat

• Provide fresh food and water for your cat daily

• Clean the cat bowls and litter trays

• Enjoy plenty of play time and cuddles

• Send daily photos and updates
