Farnham based sitter with feline welfare volunteer experience

Hello I'm Sarah, thanks for checking out my profile! I'm offer cat home visits in the wider Farnham area.

I'm a recent chemistry graduate whose grown up alongside cats. I also have 6 months of volunteer experience at the Cats Protection adoption centre in Haslemere. In my role I cleaned out the cats' compartments as well as fed and bonded with them. In this role, I got to know cats of a range of ages, each with a different background and situation, so I ensured I was sensitive to their individual needs and personalities. I really enjoyed this role and making connections with a range of cats- hence I would love the opportunity to pet sit and help look after your cats!

Whilst volunteering at the Cats Protection I actually met and went on to adopt my current cat Ralph! He is a black cat and one of the smartest cats I think I've ever met. He enjoys being challenged to learn tricks and earn a couple of Dreamies! Up until recently when she passed away, I also had a tortoise shell cat called Rosie who was equally lovable but different to Ralph. She had no interest in trick learning but she was very partial to being picked up for a cuddle and nestling in my hair!

Besides this I love watching documentaries about cats which I think has improved my understanding of them further. Most recently I have watched Inside The Mind Of A Cat on Netflix which I thoroughly recommend.
