Hi there, and thank you for considering me to care for your furry friend(s)!

I'm Octavia, a PhD researcher at the University of Birmingham where I study tiny Antarctic insects (yes, there are a few down there!). When I’m not buried in science, you’ll find me reading, doing ballet, lifting at CrossFit, or spending time with my beloved cat, Cupcake.

I’m a lifelong animal lover and grew up surrounded by cats of all temperaments and needs- from the fiercely independent to the endlessly cuddly. I absolutely adore spending time with cats and treat every one as if they were my own. You can count on me to give your feline family members the same level of care, affection, and attention that I give to Cupcake herself.

With over 18 years of experience caring for cats, I’d be delighted to look after your feline friend(s)- and any other small companions you may have at home. I can provide food, treats, litter tray cleaning, playtime, and plenty of affection, all while keeping you updated with regular messages and photos.

Cleanliness and respect for your home are really important to me, so I always make sure to tidy up after each visit. I'm also happy to help with more complex care needs, including administering medication if required.

My own cat, Cupcake, joined me three years ago as a senior with several health issues, so I’m well-versed in giving gentle, attentive care to cats with medical needs or quirky personalities.
