Hi Everyone!

My name is Jen.

I’ve owned cats for 27 years. I love cats a lot! 😻

I had a dog when I was a kid and thought I was a dog person until I moved into my first house which had a mouse problem. I was terrified of mice so I got my first cat called Tig and was hooked! She was my saviour. I totally fell in love with her.

My next cats were 2 kittens that had been abandoned aged 7 weeks from a rescue centre in Huyton. Brother and sister. Oliver was 12 when he died and Annie was 19.

I also took in a stray cat and called him Tom. He was in a terrible state but after many vet appointments and a lot of love, he settled in nicely. Unfortunately he was 15 when I found him and died two years later. I like to think he had the best two years of his life though.

I now have Ellie who is 4. She’s a real character and I think she’s amazing.

I have always done cat sitting for my friends and have only just discovered cat sitting is an actual thing you can do for others. I myself have always preferred not to put my cats in a cattery but have them looked after at home so I am here if you need the same.

I am an accountant by day but work flexible hours with some days at home. I don’t work weekends in my main job.
