About Me

Laura’s cat sitting service

Hi my names Laura! I am a 26 year old with a full educational background which includes animal care assistance, a level 3 animal management NVQ, and a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in Zoology.

My previous work includes 5 years working in a Kennel and Cattery pet centre, 8 years as a customer service assistant at Morrisons, and as a retail assistant at Maidenhead aquatics, I was there for 1 year.

I now work as an assistant manager working with dogs, so am able to do morning and evening cat visits, but this has come with a lot of big changes including having to unfortunately cut back on my availability. I am trying my best to be able to fit in and reply to requests and I will be constantly updating my calendar, so please check before a booking, as I wouldn’t like to disappoint anyone! I have chosen to still carry on as a cat sitter as I’ve had so much fun meeting all types of kitties since I started on here, and I love to help out, I hope to continue for as long as I can!

I would like to reassure that once a booking has been approved the care provided for your cats will still be high priority.

In my home life right now I have an adopted cat named Oreo from the RSPCA. This is my first rescue cat, and was described to have had some aggression issues, although since being with us he has become to most loving big boy who loves his cuddles and especially loves his food. More recently we got a Labrador, they have slotted perfectly into our family.

As a previous user of this service I know a lot about the processes involved, making sure your cat is well fed, watered, littered cleaned and cuddled while you are gone. Also if any medication is needed I will provide such. As I have experience of my own with cats of all different temperaments I will work around the confidence of your cat. I will also maintain cleanliness of the home.

I also have a full driving licence so I can travel to places further away, and I would love to arrange to meet your cats and yourself to talk about your routines beforehand. Then while you’re away I will give you daily updates and photos of your cat for your peace of mind.

    Amazing care from Laura as always. Laura is not only brilliant at looking after cats but is a great photographer, sending many funny photos of Chibi during my time away. Sadly this is our last of many bookings with Laura as we are moving out of the area, but I would absolutely recommend her to everyone

    First time using Laura to look after my indoor cat. She came round to meet him a couple of weeks before the booking. She’s very friendly and put me straight at ease. She sent lots of pics and updates when I was away. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to book again.

    Very happy with Laura’s care as always. Great communication and photos, Chibi always looks like her normal cheeky self so I know she has been looked after very well. Laura knows Chibi’s routine very well now due to multiple bookings and she’s even got a few elusive shoulder cuddles from Chibi who is clearly also a fan!

    As always Laura looked after Chibi incredibly well. She kept me well updated with messages and cute photos throughout my time away. This was my longest booking so it was very appreciated! Laura knows Chibi’s routine well to help keep her settled. Chibi was very relaxed and happy when I got back and I could tell she had been looked after very well.
