Moggie minder

I'm a retired teacher, and have lived in the Purbeck area for the last 25 years. My interests are broad - other than big love for our feline fur babies - cooking, reading, environmental issues, keeping fit, travel, socialising and so on.

From an early age, I've had cats as pets, and absolutely love their individual, quirky characters. I respect a cat's need to be themselves in their own environment.

Last year, our lovely cat Sparkle reached a ripe age of 20 then passed away sadly. We've not got a new cat, as we do travel for a few weeks at a time in our motor home.

I'd love to care for your cat while you are away or busy, and would give your pet the treatment they wish for and deserve.

Due to circumstance and other commitments, I can only offer up to a week's care of your cat. As a cat sitter, I'd be happy to do whatever it takes to make your moggie feel comfortable in your absence. For example, if your cat loves a cuddle and hairbrush, then that is what I'd do. If they are more hands-off, preferring a quick stroke or chuck under the chin, then that is also fine! They might like some time to play with favourite cat toys - wonderful!

If you're the owner of more than one cat, that is great by me.
