Central York Cat and House Sitter

I'm Lucy, I'm a Civil Servant scientist (DBS checked), and experienced cat owner. I've owned cats my entire life, but the last few years I haven't been able to have cats of my own which is what got me interested in cat sitting.

I have extensive previous experience cat sitting for family and friends. I work full time, but have a flexible work from home position so I will fit cat sitting around your schedule! I'm also in York most weekends so I'm able to tend to pets while owners are on holiday, including bank holidays (e.g. Easter).

I'm new to cat sitting through Cat in a Flat so my fees are low (with no peak pricing) while I build up a client base! I'm quick to reply, and my availability is up-to-date until at least September 2025. If you'd like to meet in person before you decide please do let me know.

During my visit I'll make sure your cat gets some time to play, is fed at your preferred times, and any litter trays are refreshed. I also understand some cats would prefer space, so if feeding and cleaning is all you need that works too! You'll get regular updates from me including photos and videos so you can see how your pets are getting on.

I am also happy to look after other pets - during my 8 years working in Biology I have handled and reared a wide range of animals including rats, fish, invertebrates, and reptiles.
