Medic cat parents who wish they became vets instead of doctors!

Hi!

We're Jay & Lin. A newly married couple who have been together for 7 years. We both work in healthcare and are therefore DBS checked. Jay is training to be a paediatric surgeon and in the middle of a PhD, and Lin is hoping to become a radiologist. We have a gorgeous cat called Lily who has been with Lin for 18 years now. When Jay first met her 7 years ago, he was incredibly afraid Lily. However he has now been morphed into a proper cat dad and can't imagine life without his wife and cat daughter. Together the three of us have been through thick and thin. We've nursed Lily through some tough periods of illness in her old age and she's still going strong. In turn, Lily has provided us with moral support whenever we're struggling with work or life in general.

Our dream is to open a cat shelter when we retire so that we can foster and support these beautiful creatures to ensure they are not neglected.

We are excellent at caring for and nurturing cats. We know that they like to set boundaries and cannot be forced into anything. We are very good at taking the time to understand their cues and building a good relationship based on trust.

During a cat sitting we will feed your cat, ensure he/she has fresh water and clean bowls and clear the litter box/surrounding area. We're happy to offer additional services such as checking the post and watering plants. We're comfortable monitoring for signs of good health and can also administer oral and subcutaneous medication if required. Plenty of photos will be provided and if an opportunity for play time arises, we will most certainly ensure your furry friend has a great time.

We live in the E16 area and can both offer cat sitting services here.
