Stirling's Local Gattara

Hello!

My name is Lucia and I am in the Stirling area.

I have grown up with and around cats (at one point my mum, two of my aunties and both grandmothers all had cats!) and have been cat crazy my whole life.

As an adult I adopted two cats (mum Miah and her kitten Luna) from our local cat shelter and although I know longer live at home I am still their second mum and regularly look after them. They are old ladies now, 16 and 18, but still my babies.

I don't have a cat at my own home just now as I adopted a rescue dog a couple of years ago and don't feel it would be the right thing for him to have a cat sibling yet.

I also volunteered with Cats Protection as a Homing Officer/Cat Cuddler for a couple of years and loved seeing the cats gain confidence and find loving homes. I'm confident with all sorts of cats and I'm quite good at reading when they want to (or don't want to!) interact.

I'm looking forward to meeting your furbabies and hopefully being able to spend a little bit of time with them!

I'm looking to cover anywhere I can walk to, or jump on a quick bus to, from Torbrex/St. Ninian's/King's Park area.

I'm a very calm person, so anxious or shy cats tend to quite like me. Definitely up for a play with any young or active cats too (my staffy keeps me trained for that!).

I'm used dealing with food portioning and medicines and I'm specialised at giving treats (but only as many as mum or dad say you're allowed!...plus maybe one or two...)

I have a pretty clear schedule at the moment so I'd be available to visit once or twice a day and stay for a little while.
