About Me
Friendly cat sitting around High Royds, Menston and Guiseley
I'm a 40-ish year old university lecturer. I often work from home and my hours are quite flexible, which means I have the fantastic opportunity to meet some extra kitties by offering cat sitting. I have a clear DBS check from my employer (available on request). I cover High Royds and approx. a 1 mile radius (i.e. Menston & Guiseley).
I've had cats most of my life and I'm currently the proud owner of a grey tuxedo boy called Sooty. All of my cats have been rescues/strays, so I have plenty of experience with shy/nervous cats. I have also looked after playful kittens, sassy cats, long-haired breeds, multi-cat households, cats requiring medication, and both indoor and outdoor cats. According to Sooty, I'm a wizz with the lazer pointer and give excellent belly rubs and head tickles.
For peace of mind, I like to offer an introductory visit (free of charge) to meet you and your cat(s) and to discuss their requirements. Obviously no obligation to go ahead with the booking if you don't think we're a match.
Thereafter, I can provide one or two visits a day lasting around 30 mins each. This can include feeding, changing litter trays, grooming, and if it suits your cat(s) temperament, play time and cuddles too. I can also help with other small tasks such as opening/closing curtains, putting bins out, watering houseplants, etc. If you would like a longer visit, perhaps to give your cat(s) a little bit of extra company, please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.
I know it can be nerve-wracking leaving your furball behind when you go away - I'm always happy to share daily updates and photographs.
