About Me

Feline Friendly Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I’m Kimberly! I’m a registered veterinary nurse and have been qualified since October 2022, with around 5 years of experience working with animals. I absolutely adore cats, and love working with them every day - even the ones that are a bit grumpy! At work I tend to be one of the nurses who the vets will ask to help when examining cats as I’m apparently a bit of a cat whisperer! I’m also one of our practices “Cat Ambassadors”, and I have a lot of knowledge of cat behaviour meaning I can make the visits as pleasant as possible!

At home we have two cats, Maddie, a recently adopted stray tabby who we believe to be a bit of an older lady, and 4 year old tuxedo cat Charley.

I offer cat sitting services that ensure your furry friend gets all the love and care they need while you're away, from giving medications to just keeping them company, Your cat will be in great hands, feeling comfortable and happy in their own home!

I’m always happy to set up a meet and greet in advance to make sure you are 100% happy with letting me care for your fur baby!

Although I work 8:30am-6:30pm four days a week, I would be happy to drop in before and or after work, and more often on my days off to make sure your cat was happy and comfortable, getting all the TLC they need if they’re the kind of cat thats happy with that! My visits will be no less than 30 minutes, and I always allow for at least an hour to make sure I can stay as long as your furry friend wants me to!

I’m also happy administering oral, topical and injectable medication, carrying out general grooming, and house duties such as watering plants, taking care of bins and post etc - just let me know!

    Kimberly is great with my two cats who are still new to having a cat sitter. And patient with me as I am still getting used to leaving them too 😂 She has been great at keeping their routine as normal as possible, even letting them out in the garden for a bit. Our little Millie even fell asleep on her, which is true acceptance from her! ☺️

    Kimberly looked after my cat for approx. 1 week and sent pictures every day! She made sure that my wee beast was well played and cuddled with, and made sure that she took her medicines on time. Couldn't ask for a more trustworthy sitter!

    Kimberly was an amazing cat sitter for Benjy! She is very trustworthy so I was more than happy for her to be in my home and watch Benjy whilst I was away! She was great at staying in touch, and even brought in a delivery for me which I'd been waiting on a while l! Will definitely use her again!

    This was the first time our two had been left on their own, since getting them as rescues, so weren't sure how they'd be, but they really warmed to Kimberly - I suspect they preferred her to us tbh!. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kimberly - really easy to work with, very considerate, & clearly a bit of a kitty-whisperer! Came back to relaxed cats.

    Kimberly was great. Our kitty is very shy with strangers and she was very patient with him and by the end of the week he seemed to be really quite relaxed with her. We got updates everyday with photos which was very reassuring. We came home to a very happy kitty. I would definitely recommend her.
