Local kitty sitting

Hi, I’m based in the Finsbury Park and Highbury area and offer local drop-in cat sitting on foot.

I’m an NHS therapist working hybrid, with flexibility and multiple work-from-home days each week. Alongside my professional role, I’ve always had a genuine love for cats and animal care. Growing up, we had fluffy cats, adventurous hunters who brought home all sorts of “gifts”, affectionate lap cats, independent souls, and both indoor and outdoor explorers. I’ve cared for kittens, rescue cats, mature and elderly cats, and multiple-cat households, so I am very comfortable adapting to different personalities and routines.

My approach is calm, respectful and responsive. I give cats space to approach me in their own time and always follow their cues. I love building trust and relationships, whether that means playful toy sessions, gentle brushing, or quietly keeping company with a more independent cat. There is nothing better than earning those purrs.

Although I do not currently have a cat of my own due to renting and wanting to ensure I can provide long-term stability and adequate space, including safe outdoor access, I truly value time spent with cats and would love to embrace cat sitting during this stage of life. Their company and affection genuinely bring me joy.

I offer 30 to 45 minute drop-in visits, or longer if needed, to make sure your cat receives proper company and attention, not just the basics.

During visits, I can: • Feed and refresh water • Clean litter trays • Groom and brush • Play and provide company • Administer oral tablets • Brush gums • Apply ear drops • Support general care needs

I am reliable and communicative, and very happy to meet beforehand for reassurance. I can send daily photo or video updates and provide food and litter or stool updates if preferred. I am also happy to water plants or bring in post while you are away.

I understand how important it is to feel your cat is safe and well cared for, and I will treat them and your home with the utmost respect.
