East Belfast Cat Care

I’m a midwife living in East Belfast (with the relevant AccessNI check). I currently don’t have any cats but previously had a nervous little adopted cat who sadly died 2 years ago. I used to live in Scotland where I was chief cat sitter for 2 separate friends (2 cats in each household) so am experienced in a range of cat personalities! I also used to care for 2 lovely rats belonging to a previous flatmate, and owned a rabbit as a teen.

I’m happy to be lead by the cat’s requirements. I expect the owner to let me know what sort of cat they have (cuddly, shy of strangers etc) and I would tailor my service to each cat and owner. At the minimum I will of course take care of litter boxes, feeding meals and treats (while mindful of specific dietary requirements provided by owner), refreshing water bowls/ drinking fountains, cuddles and playtime! I’m also happy to water plants/ pick up post while you’re away if required.

If requested, photos/ videos of your pets can be sent to you for reassurance that they’re being cared for while you’re away from them.

As a midwife I’m well trained in medication administration safety.
