Hi, I’m Elaine and have lived in Broadstairs all my life. My friends and family regard me as very kind, caring and honest; an absolute soppy person around cats. I have always had cats and currently have 3, they are part of the family who I could not be without. I have lived with a wide variety of cats from ‘moggies’ and rescues to Siamese, Oriental and Maine Coon. My profile pic is my beloved Maine Coon who sadly is no longer with me, he was a very special boy. I will give my furry customers lots of love and cuddles if they like them. If they’re a bit shy or timid then I will respect this and contact is purely on their terms and if they want it. Over the years we have also had pet rats and rabbits so I can also look after these with prior arrangement. I have quite a few regular clients of which I am very proud and privileged to have formed a good relationship and trust.

I'm very reliable and treat my sitters homes with respect, and all the cats with love and care. I’m very gentle and calm around animals in general and my aim is for your cat(s) not to feel stressed and for you to come home to a happy cat. I am able to give tablets and liquid medicine, cut claws and groom, cat's temperament providing). Due to health and work commitments, I can only do one visit a day. I hate leaving my cats and so can provide that much needed reassurance that your cats will be well looked after in their own home whilst you are away. If they want to cuddle and play then we'll have a good time. If they're shy and just want someone to say hello, have their food and leave, then that is fine too. I always leave my sitters home clean and tidy, I will pick up the mail, water plants, clean up any accidents and feed fish, but wont touch anything else unless asked to or confirmed it's ok to do so. Your cat's happiness is my priority.

    Elaine was incredible as always when we went away recently for 2 weeks. Unfortunately our cat Lola was unexpectedly unwell in the second week but Elaine handled it like a pro - she took her to the vet and gave her medication until we got home. She was communicative and reassuring throughout. Thanks Elaine!

    Elaine looked after our two cats for the first time recently. She was lovely and clearly had a lot of experience looking after other cats and her own. We got an update every day, usually with pictures too. We came back to clean litter trays, and she cleaned up areas they had made a mess. The cats seemed happy when we got back!

    So glad we chose Elaine . Vinnie absolutely loved Elaine from the moment he met her . She updated us with lots of pictures and updates of how he was doing.     We used Elaine a while ago for a shorter visit, so I knew she would do a good job for this longer period. You can tell Elaine loves cats and is very attentive to all your cat's needs! She is very trustworthy and caring; she thought of how to make Smokey as comfortable as she could while we were away, and gave us regular updates. I will definitely use her again :-) Thanks Elaine!

    Elaine was lovely and I felt completely at ease leaving my two cats in her care. She followed my instructions to the letter and left my home clean and my cats happy. You can't ask for more! I shall definitely be using her services in the future. Highly recommended!

    Elaine was very good with Jasper. She looked after him wonderfully, giving him lots of cuddles and treats. She played with him and made sure he stayed safe during my absence. I would certainly book her again and can recommend her to anyone who has not had a sitter before and is anxious about the whole thing.
