Hello, hello!

My name is Kate. I normally live and travel in Mexico, but head to the UK every now and again over the summer for when my friends invariably get married, have babies and the like :)

I am a friendly, responsible and outgoing individual, with a love for animals, meeting people from all walks of life and slow travel.

As part of getting to know places beyond the travelling circuit, I have been house sitting whilst travelling. I love this, as it brings you to new places to meet wonderful people from all over the world :)

I believe there is no greater way to experience life around you than through the people you meet along the way and with this awesome community. It is my passion to travel in this way!

I adore animals, spending time with them, looking after them and getting to know their unique personalities. This is something that fulfills me greatly and to be able to do it whilst travelling meeting awesome people from around the world is just the icing on the cake!

I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy who can keep your home safe and look after your furr babies whilst away.

I have been travelling and housesitting whilst I go and I have fallen in love with this type of travel. I spent several weeks looking after a little street puppy and two lovely little cats in Merida in Mexico. This involved helping with training, with acclimatising Firu (the puppy) and general care and attention and was a super lovely experience. I have also been sitting for a lovely couple and their tiny gorgeous little Dashound called Terry, in Tulum. This has included helping out with walking, care and cuddles.

Growing up in the countryside near oxford, I would often care for animals growing up whilst friends and family were away. This included looking after Nico, an ex race horse that I used to ride and care for with the puppies and the chickens and loved doing this.

I have a jungle at home so I am also an expert at plant care if needed.
