Gorton's Gatos

Hi! I am America, I have recently move to Gorton and am hoping to help you take care of your little furball. I have worked in pet stores (reptiles, Fischeries and common pets) veterinaries and catteries. I have a 13 year old male tabby, who has had his fun as an outdoor cat and is now preferring to stay at home (which means more cuddles, yay!) and a 3 year old female tortoise-shell, who's going through her terrible teens...

They live with me and don't get on well which means a lot of me shooing the tortoise-shell away because she is trying to attack the tabby.

This means I have the knowledge for taking care of cats and am prepared for the unexpected.

Offering all the cuddles, conversation and lap real estate. Not all cat are the same (my two are polar opposites) and I tend to give a cat the freedom to show me what they need and not assume. As a house we do not use treats for positive reinforcement but rather as an every now and again snack, but this has led to a very difficult journey, and I 100% back using treats for training.
