Experienced Cat Sitter in Burntwood/Lichfield/Cannock

Hi!

My name is Hayley, I’m 34 years old and live in Burntwood.

I work in marketing during the day, but I’m a huge cat lover. I have my own cat, Bertie who is 6 years old and is my best friend, I also grew up with a cat called Patch who lived until she was 19. I’ve been pet sitting for a few of my friends for over 5 years now and I love it. I have 12 cats who I feed regularly and one hedgehog too!

I live in Burntwood but I’m happy to also cover Norton Canes/Heath Hayes/Cannock/Lichfield/Fradley areas.

I’ll always spend time with the cats, I won’t just feed them and leave. I make sure to spend at least half an hour with them, chatting to them so they get some human interaction. I won’t be offended if they don’t want to spend time with me - one of my regulars will come downstairs for his food, give me a dirty look and then go back up to bed, his brother loves a fuss though and likes to sit on my lap.

I don’t mind how many cats you have - one of my friends has 7 and I look after them quite regularly.

I have no issues cleaning up after cats. I’d appreciate knowing in advance if your cats are prone to “protests” though. One of my regulars likes to go to the toilet outside of the litter box when his parents are away, but I’m always prepared for the worst when I go in. I'll always clean out the litter box on each visit.

I’m also fine with ‘presents’, whether they’re alive or dead. I’ve caught my fair share of live mice!

I’ve got experience administering medication in both tablet form and liquid through a syringe. I’m not scared of being bitten or scratched, so I’m happy to give it a go if your cat needs medication.

I’ve got experience with rabbits and gerbils as I grew up with them. I’d be happy to look after other rodents too. I’ll also be happy to feed fish.

I also regularly feed a Pygmy hedgehog and he has crickets along with his normal food, which doesn’t bother me. I'm happy to feed with any kind of insects.

If you have reptiles, I would also be happy to look after them but I’d need full instructions. The only pet I wouldn’t go near is a tarantula.
