Hi, I’m Kirsty and I love caring for pets!

I worked for Cats Protection for 2 years before accepting redundancy and I worked with a variety of animals at RSPCA for 5 1/2 years. I have also worked as a veterinary receptionist and gained lots of experience and knowledge. I now work part-time at a pet shop and I am growing my pet sitting business.

I have completed a Level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Care and have completed lots of animal care training during my employment.

I currently own a 3-legged black and white moggy called Milly. She loves to play with pretty much anything despite being an adult cat! She also enjoys cuddles, but can be a little timid and I have had to gain her trust over time.

I offer the following service:

• An initial meet & greet to meet your cat(s) and you (free of charge and no obligation to book)
• Cat feeding
• Administering medication
• Providing fresh water and cleaning bowls
• Cleaning litter trays and cleaning up any accidents
• Providing cuddles, play and grooming
• I will let your cat out in the garden and encourage them back in at times agreed
• I will provide daily updates and photos of your cat(s)
• I will contact your registered vet or local emergency vet if your kitty is unwell (I will contact you first)
• I will also water plants if required, pick up the post, and take the bins out if requested
• I will always spend a minimum of 30 minutes caring for your cat(s) and home.

I am fully insured and will discuss all forms and paperwork at the meet & greet. I also have a current DBS check.

Please note that the prices charged on the Cat In A Flat platform are higher than my private booking charges due to platform fees.
