Experienced cat sitter at your service! 🐾

I’m in my early thirties and work for the government. Originally from Kent, I’ve lived in Sheffield for 6 years now and recently moved to Kelham. In between home working and the office (and tending to my own little fluffball) I’m available for cat sitting — where I’ll provide the care and reassurance that you and your cat require when you’re away 🏠

I was bought two tabby cats of my own when I was seven. One stayed small and chased mice, and the other—despite her keen interest in climbing loft ladders—became very fat, or, as the vet described, ‘big boned'. Sadly, they are not around anymore but did live to ripe old ages (16 and 18) and fought various ailments along the way.

In May 2020, with approval from my landlady, I adopted a little vocal tabby stray cat, called Beatrice, and am once again mummy to a little (noisy) furball.

Having previously put her in a cattery—ahem, cat hotel—I understand how it feels to leave your beloved feline(s) when you go away and the separation anxiety it can cause, for both parties. With me, you can be rest assured.

I look after cats of any kind, size, shape, personality. 😺😼 With my 2+ years of Cat In A Flat experience, this is what I offer:

• An initial introduction to give your cat the chance to meet me in your company and to go over any additional/ house security details (keys, alarms, maintenance etc) 🪴

• Bespoke care and provision of food, water, attention, conversations, play, litter tray duties and treats (as much or as little as you would like) 🧶

• Working with you and your cat's usual routine as best I can, adhering to any special requests 📦

• Staying with your cat for at least 30 mins on each visit, with the provision of photo (& GIF) updates 📸

It has been a few years but I would comfortably (and successfully) administer medication to my own cats, including in an emergency. You can be rest assured that if the worst DOES happen, I will do everything in my power to get them help should they need it. I also have a car 🚑
