Family friendly experienced cat sitter :)

Hi!

My name is Matej and I've been living in London for more than 5 years. I grew up around animals in Croatia where my family had dogs, cats, bunnies and parrots.

I'm a huge animal lover and I spend too much of my time with my two cats Angie (Michelangelo) and Leo (Leonardo). They are both older male cats. One is a bit grumpy so I have plenty of experience dealing with kitties who have a certain preference on how they like things done and I respect their personal space. Leo has had some issues with stress and anxiety which has resulted in him having to have surgery because it affected his bladder. He was on medication after and still occasionally needs to be given anxiety tablets, so I have experience with administering medication if necessary.

I was also an Au Pair before and have lived in different households with pets where one of my responsibilites was pet care. I genuinely enjoy taking care of cats and they enjoy spending time with me as well :)

I have a great respect for cats and one of the reasons I love them so much is their independence. With that said, just like any other cat lover, I enjoy cuddling and holding them (if they allow!), but making sure the cat is comfortable with my presence is top priority. I'm happy to do anything it takes for us to get to know each other and be at ease - giving treats, playing, petting etc. I am also no stranger to cleaning up their litter and/or any accidents that happen around the house!

I’m more than happy to provide you with updates, photos and videos when I catsit and I will make sure your cat is just as happy and at ease with me, as they are with you! I’m willing to travel anywhere within London Zones 1-2 as well as SE London Zones 1-4.
