Desperately missing my cat back at home!

I've always loved animals and I'm not able to keep a pet since I've lived abroad, but I have a cat back home in Ireland who I miss dearly! She's well into her senior years as she's been with us for about 16 years now. She was a stray originally and can be quite nervous or even defensive, but I don't mind when a pet requires a bit more time and patience to bond, and I think I can read cats very well as a result. I'm studying for my Master's at the moment so I generally have lots of time working away at my laptop from home which means I'm around a lot to keep pets company!

I've built up quite a lot of experience with minding both cats and dogs for different people, some with chronic illnesses or disabilities, or even just very high energy levels, so I'd say I'm quite well equipped to take care of virtually all kinds of pets at this stage, even those with a lot of additional needs. I really never get tired of spending time with a furry friend.
